We broke the registration and so switched it off for a while .. which reminds me, I should remove the button .. :) ..

Welcome to NGI though Sally .. with a name like yours, you'll fit in well round here

I'm not from Hartlepool, though, spent many a night chasing spooks on the headland!

hi every one thanks for you replys. I grow up st hildas cres which is next to st hildas church, and yes we ghosts in our house. some thing to do with the tunnels that run under the houses from the pub across the road ( cosmatpolatin) the tunnels went under the church down to the sea, so I've had a interest in ghost hunting for years

behind the pub is a church you may have seen it called st marys, the tunnels start there so I think it may have been something to do with the catolic church.
my brother worked in the pub, and he as seen black shadows in the celler many times near the tunnels ehich where bricked up years ago.

we had the sprit of a small boy in our housre, my dad found the bones of a small child when hw was digging the back yard up for something, anyway we found out, it was the bones of a little boy about 5 years old, he was a plague victom we where told, my dad had him reburied and the drains moved, he was just part of the house.

there was a man in the upstairs bedroom but I'll have to aks my mam about him

Well were are always keen to follow up new cases. If the place has still got activity then I'm sure we'd love to sort something out. Better be careful not to freak the people out who like there now though when you ask your questions. ;)

Hmmm it's a tricky one. I would probably just have a word with the neighbours that you are friends with and see if they have been told anything about recent 'happenings'.

If they haven't, then I would probably just leave well alone, but if the new residents have experienced things maybe you could pass on your (or our) details for them to get in touch with you. You never know they may be interested in the fact that it's not just them who have experienced things.

Good stuff.

We've also done an investigation at 'The Studio' in Hartlepool which was an interesting night. Probably the only time when I've really felt the atmosphere/energy in the room change dramatically in seconds.

did you ever get the chance to go to St Hilda's hospital, my brother was a night porter and he left in the end because of things that went on

will you do any more investigation over there? I would love to join you.

Yeah, the change in atmosphere is an odd one, but there are a multitude of things that can cause this of a non paranormal nature, I only mentioned it because it's not something that I usually pick up on.

I've never been to St. Hilda's Hospital in my 5 years with NGI but I'm not sure if any longer serving members have before that. Jay?

As for future investigations who knows where we'll be going. We're pretty busy with private cases at the moment and as you can imagine they require confidentiality and must be handled with care, but if we get called to any public places we aren't against the odd interested party joining us.

The best thing to do is to keep chatting on the forum with the rest of NGI and you never know what may happen. Just don't be offended if you get into any heated debates about certain topics as were are all pretty opinionated on here (in a nice way I hope).

Debate is good for paranormal research.
