Here is another youtube video, apparently the hotel was shut to the public and it was the security guard who filmed this with his mobile phone. this is interesting as you can see a huge figure at the bottom of the corridor, if this is real or not i don't know but it is interesting.

Again it's interesting, but in the end it boils down the the credibility of the witness.

That's the frustrating thing about this field. I'm sure they'd be plenty of people willing to dismiss our night of the 'dancing wardrobe' but it did happen. The only thing is we don't have any evidence that it did, only testimony :(

Thing is, when people want evidence of a persons encounter they will still not accept it, I.E photo evidence or video evidence.

That's very true. NGI are not really out to prove anything to the wider world. We all have our own reasons for doing what we do, but I think for the most of us it's about discovering things for ourselves and no one else.

I've got to say that in over 5 years of investigating with NGI, I have only witnessed about 5 things that could possibly be of a paranormal nature, and even then they are all still very much open to debate.

In our experience that does seem to be the case, mind you reading a lot of other teams reports that are out there they seem to have phantom encounters every night. I know why I think that is though.

probably because they will think anything that happens at a haunted place will be 100% paranormal.

Sadly this seems to often be the case. People are that desperate to have 'an experience' then they'll take any slight thing on board instead of just chucking it out. I suppose we've been a bit guilty of that over the years too, but it's always a learning curve.

If you class everything as paranormal it dilutes things when something really unexplained happens, which is really what keeps us doing what we do.

cool, got to learn somewhere and the longer you guys do it the better you can get i suppose. take Ghost Hunters, i like that show but i don't like Most Haunted that much because they take anything and say it was paranormal.

Yeah, Most Haunted has suffered a tremendous backlash over the years and rightly so in my opinion. Ghost Hunters is better but that has also be dogged with controversy too. I guess that's the price you pay for going on TV.

Note to any TV executives reading this: NGI are quite happy to prostitute themselves and put their reputations on the line if it means we get a TV series

Well mainly it was the whole 'jacket pulling' episode.
They have captured some very intriguing footage though if taken at face value.

NGI have been interviewed on local news before and have done a few radio broadcasts, but I really don't think the world is ready for our major TV debut just yet.

You do get that with a lot of sceptics, or should I say cynics, in that as long as they come up with a theory that fits in with their view of reality to explain something that doesn't, then they're happy to leave it at that. Job done!.

It annoys me sometimes.

People often use the term sceptic is the opposite of 'believer' nowadays, which is incorrect. Scepticism is a way of looking at things and not a belief system. I like to think of myself as a sceptic as I'm constantly questioning things, and I think that it's impossible to be a good paranormal investigator without having a sceptical viewpoint.

That's not to say that I don't genuinely believe that there is 'something' going on because I do, and I experienced it first had, but I'm still very sceptical about most things.

I think the confusion has arisen by people describing themselves as sceptics when really they are cynics.

A lot of tv shows about ghosts, UFO's or what ever always have some 'sceptic' on it when in fact they are cynics.

shame really as it was most haunted that really made me question every haunted programme and teams on telly, questioning 'but who else is in the room' or 'what has someone thrown in the corner of the room to create that sound' or 'who was that upstairs that banged on the floor'

THANKS ALOT MOST HAUNTED
