At first I thought that the mist was free floating, but adjusting the image slightly you can see that it actually originates from the bottom right hand corner of the frame.

I'm not saying that this is the answer, but this kind of thing can often be attributed to things such as clothing fibres of the camera operator getting in front of the lens.

Thanks again for looking, I have seen the security cameras from upstairs in the pub and some of the views are crystal clear and others are full of misty like figures. Also we hold seances in this room and there is always alot of activity. We have video evidence too of a mobile phone being pushed of one of the fireplaces in this room, only Im not sure how to cut it and its a whole hour into the recording. I will get my brother to try to cut it for me then will upload.

it does look like a figure in the mist, I would of understood more if it was still smoking atmosphere, but as there is the smoking ban the mist looks great. I would so love to see the video action.

Im not sure exactly what temperature it was but it was freezing cold as I had a thick quilted jacket on and the heating isnt on downstairs at all on a wednesday downstairs as the pub is closed.
