I visited this pub earlier this year and had lunch there [I know the proprietor] and was given the chance to visit the haunted rooms upstairs. Unfortunately all I had on me was my mobile phone camera, took lots of photos, didn't see anything parnormal, but then the sun was shining through the windows, but felt an icy presence. Back home i put photos on PC and saw an interesting lady sitting on the bed with a baby.. she was not there when i took the photo.
N.B. the photo has been enhanced to black and white as it is easier to see than the original.
Photo reflects the image through the TV

Yes, this is the same place, beautiful place but spooky.
The child in question is my friends child, though he no longer lives there and seems to have forgot the incidents.
The taps and knockings continue.
The TV in picture is the one that was shown on Most Haunted when it turned itself on, when Karl and Stu were in the room.

I remember investigating this place years ago... might have been 2004 or '05, not sure which, when I was a member of a group now defunct.

We managed to debunk the MH TV issue... the other remotes in the adjoining rooms also worked on the TV in question, and the range for the controllers to work tallied with what I recall was either a table or a trolley with plates etc on it... which strangely made a crash exactly the same as witnessed on MH when it was knocked.

Its an interesting building, but I think the jury is still out on the paranormal aspect of it.

Well Tony, as you say it is a lovely interesting building, we did an invest there last year I did enjoy it, (I still have not watched MH when they visited) as the plan was to return. I guess the group we had there did experience a few things, but nothing what you could claim "paranormal". Not to worry I still plan on returning :D

I was there July 2010 which turned into a public ghost hunt. Nothing spectacular happened but then again with 20 odd ppl around you wouldn't expect much I did enjoy the night thou as I was working with the Medium who was originally there in 2004. The only interesting results were from the automatic writing planchette 2 groups in the panelled room at seperate times reported getting a young girl on the planchette and the drawings are very similar, Its a lovely building and if the opportunity to investigate it properly came up I would definately go
