No but I saw the extra window from outside, I saw the cha,ber where the devil was s'posed to have entered.

As a kid......well teenager, I was about 13, I was more interested in looking at the castle rather than its ghosts. It is a creepy place though.

Why was it creepy Anth especially?

Its just weird, hard to describe. The arched chamber is a weird place but it could be because of the shape of the chamber itself.

I always liked the illustration of a ghost of Glamis that I had in a book when I way young. It was that of a women with her tongue cut out and blood running down her chin. Nice!

I remember reading about this as a kid, can't remember too much other than I always wanted to go - was there a storey of a young stable hand killed? the "Cad Lad" or something?

There's not a lot to investigate at Hyltn Castle, you can't get inside unless its one of the heritage days, which are only about twice a year, and even then, its nothing but a shell, However you can wonder around the grounds as much as you like, any time you like.
