Post subject:  EMF and EIF

EMF meters have become a bit of a dirty word among the more 'scientific' end of the Paranormal Investigation community in recent years.

While it may be true that the reason that so many groups use handheld meters is a direct result of a misinterpretation of the low frequency Experiencing Inducing Fields (EIF) of Persingers research, does it really mean that they are useless?

It is a fact that most of these devices are calibrated to mains electricity and are unable to pick up on the EIFs that Persigerser's report showed, and also that there is no evidence liking EMF to 'ghosts'. However, countless teams (including NGI), after years of using these simple meters, have found a correlation between areas high mains EMF and 'feelings of unease/paranormal.

So if this is the case, why are we constantly told that there is nothing in it?
