this often gets overlooked but what do people wear to invos and why?

I try to wear the same clothes (shut up I've heard it all anyway hehehe!) and if I've any dangly earings or hair bits I wouldnt normally wear I take them off, same for all bracelets or anything flappy really.

I wear the same clothes so I know how they move on me and to get used to the feel of them etc so if I do experience 'tugging' sensations and stuff then I can rule out it being my clothing moving in a way I'm not used to in the dark and causing the 'tugging' sensation etc.

I try not to wear lenses for invos cos normallly I wear my glasses and are used to them whilst doing this etc, sometimes my eyes get dry in my lenses etc and I know this can sometimes affect my vision but I know other people who prefer to wear lenses so they dont give the odd reflections that glasses can give etc.

I know people slate me and Pam for wearing heels on invos but we wear them normally so I cant see the problem personally!

Gotta say the NGI fleeces are dead handy cos they've got huge pockets for putting stuff in and you can fit several jumpers under them to keep warm in!

I love it that Pam and yourself wear heels. More of it I say!

Seriously, NGI Fleeces and caps are great but I often feel myself getting too hot by the end of the night.

I always try to wear dark clothes, usually something comfy and not restricting, I like to wear my combats cos everything fits in my 12+ pockets and it means I dont have to carry a bag, I dont know how Claire and Pam get off with the high heels, but then im not much of a high heels person, give me a pair of trainers anyday. I usually try to wear boots or trainers with a good grip (comes in handy for climbing up random walls, and trecking across hills at night. I like the NGI Fleeces, cos they are warm, tho it does get a little hot during the night, my only problem is they dont have enough pockets, but thats another thing I like loads of pockets, well put it this way on my average ghost hunt I carry, a couple of pendulums, dowsing rods, emf metre, temp gauge, camera, spare batteries for everything, head torch, spare torch, note pad, pen, miscilanious junk in case I need a trigger object, a couple of tea light candles, a lighter, mobile(x2) chocolate for fast energy, inhaler and meds. and that all fits in my pockets, so I like a lot of pockets.
Oh and sometimes if I go out with Paul I shove a laminated Ouija Board up the back of my T-Shirt, that way I'm always ready to make a sharp getaway. :D

Always black - black shoes, black jeans and my black fleece .. Why? So at a distance, others don't see a ghostly figure walking in the dark like they would if I was wearing lighter clothing. In black, I just blend into the background ..

Team polo shirt, team fleece, jeans and sensible shoes. Preferably ones that dont make too much noise or like my trainers produce offensive odours.

People know where I am cos my presence is heralded by a sudden flash of light......as I take a picture

I am looking at getting some army webbing to put all my bits of gear in. And I think I will start wearing combat pants.
I carry that much stuff with me that I need clips for torches etc. I have an Army style torch that clips onto my jacket, its great when rummaging around in dark places.

I'm going to be messing about with IR photography and am looking at converting an LED torch into an IR torch. So I'll need somewhere to store that and my cameras and my batteries and notepad. I sometimes take my own laptop along too.

I dont beleive in waving an EMF metera bout so I dont carry one of them. But plenty of fluids and mars bars are advisable. One thing I like to carry is a first aid kit too....just a small one, cant be too careful.

you were fuckin funny Jay hehehehehehe!!!
You went face down in it hehehehehehehe!!!!
2 steps off the road and you were face down hehehehehehehehehehe!!!!

I think your fleece needs a wash too hehehehehe!
Did you get in trouble for going out to the pub and coming back head to toe in mud hehehehehe???
You know....even tho I had white stiletto boots on I never even slipped and they are still pretty clean hehehehehe!!!Put it this way I dont need to clean them before I wer them again....

What is it with you and hills hehehehehehe!!!
This wasnt even a hill it was a bank with steps in it hehehehehe!!!

Actually I've noticed blacks one of the worst colours for showing dirt and dust up....hehehe carlisle castle was funny with all of us walking round like we'd been in some kind of dust explosion from brushing against the walls on the fleeces hehehe!

Actually thats a good point....those fleeces are buggers for picking up every speck of anything in the air!
Mind....they brush off easy enough!

Im always ready to make a fast getaway, from the living and the dead. The only worry I have is if I go down too fast, Ill end up with a dowsing rod sticking out my side and a pendulum up my nose.
