Just a thought, a great old ship nearly 200 years old. I don't think it saw too much in the way of war, but she has had an interesting life.

When I was about 10 the Trincomalee was down in Portsmouth harbour and named Foudroyant, and looking very different...our school had a 3 day trip staying on the ship and doing things like knots, rowing, cooking etc. Great fun as a kid, and we even slept in proper hammocks.

Great memories... and not a little spooky!
