I've just moved in to a mock tudor 1930's house and a lot of weird things have been happening. You know I'm not one to make things up, but activity has been happening every god damned day. Glasses have been smashing in my kitchen, my house alarm goes off for no reason whatsoever, its freezing cold and I hear weird noises in the middle of the night.

As soon as I enter my house there is a strange atmosphere. Get yourselves down here and you'll see for yourselves.

Prolly a valid explanation, but still..

I will PM you it if you want. Its right next to that graveyard we visited in 06 I think, and the house is absolutely huge.. has 3 floors. I'm not worried about the possible ghosts.. I'm more worried about the high gas and electric bills :D.

The alarm went off 3 times last night, a sparky has checked it out and he said it deffo isn't faulty. I don't believe in Ghosts, but this is weird. Strange things used to happen in my old house around the corner too. I wonder if there is a high EMF in this area.

And btw, yes Jay is extremely old, he's seen it all... both world wars, the JFK assassination, the moon landings, but I am still young. Not a single grey hair on my head :D.

I hear female voices saying "oh mikey you're the best I've ever had" < ok that was a lie (I wish) . I hear tapping and a weird screeching noise thats hard to explain. It kinda sounds like a whistling wind on a cold winters day.

I think some video footage is called for here!!

Would it be possible for you to set anything up like that Mike???

It would be very interesting to hear any noises to maybe you could record them if you get the opportunity!
I think these kinds of "hauntings" are the best because there personal to an individual, might be scary but very interesting to us ghost hunters!!

If an alarm goes off it either does have a fault somewhere in the system or is being triggered by something; even something as mundane as a spider crawling across a sensor.

An alarm without a fault would not go off without some other factor being involved.

It would depend on how thoroughly the alarm was checked. Continuity on the sensor cables is one thing, but is it correct resistance?
It only takes an abnomality for the alarm to trigger thats their nature.

Its been windy the last few nights so the noise may well have been the wind whistline through the eaves. It may als have caused the bell box to move slightly thus triggering the alarm.

Yeh, so if it wasn't checked well enough and the continuity on the sensor cables or resistance was off then it would be a fault with the alarm itself, and if it was the wind causing movement then it would be an external factor.
