Very interesting picture Triplow i can definitely see the face, i cannot comment on what could have caused it though as i am not a camera expert, but it is very interesting. What type of camera did you use and what are the specifications ? Also was the mist visible to the naked eye.

I will have to get my girlfriend to take me to winters gibbet sometime as it sound like a very interesting place

it was taken on a fujifilm finepix A345 didi cam, which aint the best by any means but it does the job (most of the time)
the mist wasn't visible at the time, Kelly took the shots along the road, four in all, the first shot showed this then faded over the remaining three, quite a smooth transition when you see the other photos, leaving only a few orbs dotted round. tbh, although i see the face, i cant really explain it either - i leave it open but i've seen mists taken here before, then clear straight afterwards. i mentioned earlier in the thread that a skeptic will say the mist is due to moisture etc etc etc..

but two factors that make me question this would be the actual look of the face, which does co inside with the description of winters ghost that's been given on occasion.
the hollowed eyes and rotting flesh, which would look skeletal. the second being the way it fades over the shots then gone. it certainly made me think anyway.
hopefully we'll get summit better next time :D

Its a good picture mate, I'm thinking about updating my camera as it is a bit out dated now and only 4.2MP, i want something at least 8MP. I would like one of those full spectrum cameras off Ghost Hunters International :D but from what i've read when googled they cost an arm and a leg to put together.

I might get my girlfriend to take me to Winters Gibbet in the not to distant future, will have to find directions mind as i only have brief understanding of where to go  i know its up on route to northumberland national park somewhere, in a place called elsdon or there a bout, isn't willowbog cottage up that neck of the woods also  kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak.

well on the whole for physical activity it was pretty glum, but so far i've edited 2 evp and i think there's more although i need to look more carefully into them.

are you on msn? i can send it straight through, plus i don't wana make assumptions that may influence others at this point.

we tried the "franks/ghost box" and we got some debatable stuff, although inconclusive to wether we were in contact in my opinion! i will maybe put the session up on my site after more analysis, and leave it to public opinion after that..
