just read this again, whats wrong with places being done by loads of teams?

Also, as a self proclaimed sceptic I'd have thought you'd have jumped at the chance to go check out the 'cleansing' aspect of the Schooner, saying a place has been cleansed so therefore there is no reason to go shouts to me 'believer!', apologies if I've read your post wrong there again tho Andrea!

I agree, returning to a place time and time again produced a lot of data. I'd don't really buy into the idea of too many groups 'draining energy' from a place or whatever.

As for the Schooner, I like it too. So what if someone, who know someone else, who believes that they can cast out spirits says it's been cleansed. Why would anyone with a real investigative mind believe that at face value?

All I know is that I have had a some interesting experiences in the Schooner of a 'possible paranormal' nature and that certainly warrants further investigation.

In my opinion, the Schooner is haunted! Fair enough, you don't always have a night of rampant activity, but its produced some fascinating results via the evidence. Mark I agree with that, although, I do think the more well known spots across the region are less likely to produce results than the lesser known locale.

The way I see it, is if you imagine your a 'ghost' sitting comfortably in your luxurious castle on top of haunted hill, then, all of a sudden, hoards of people come traipsing in shouting "Mark, are you here?" To which your respond, "Yes, I am". But, of course, they can't hear you. After a while you might think to yourself "Stuff this. I'm gonna head down to the bowels of the castle and sit in the dark!". What I'm trying to say is, that, just maybe, after a while the "spirits" might get fed-up of the continual annoyance of communicating with nutters - like us!

Do you think that could be a possibility? I certainly wouldn't rule it out... But it's not gonna stop me from going and experiencing these places for myself.

Well it's a theory, and one that I can't really argue with. On the other hand if you have 'ghosts' that come back/hang around the earthly plain in an attempt to make contact with the living, it makes sense that you would go where there are people who are trying to communicate in return. Why would a ghost choose to hang around in a dark lonely place?

This only really relates to 'intelligent ghosts' though. Any 'Imprints' around a haunted place couldn't really get fed up with a large number of investigators could they?

At the end of the day, people can say what the hell they want. Whether a place is haunted, not haunted or is supposed to have been 'cleared' by gypsy Rose Lee is not important to me. It is all about personal experience and investigation.

For the record though Trips, I too think that there could be something paranormal going on in the Schooner.

I have a CD .. somewhere .. but it was from the room next door - so I think all it ever "showed" was the banging from it and probably a "WTF was that?" look on Doks face .. ;)
