I read about them in Fortean Times magazine a few years back, although they termed the 'Sky Beasts' in the article. Its an interesting theory that so called UFO's may not be off world technology or government projects, but actual living entities.

Your post put me in mind of the wave of pterodactyl sightings that occured over the Pennine Hills years ago. It does seem crazy to think there are any physical, living pterodactyls in the UK, or anywhere in the world for that matter, but there is a chance that it could have been Sky Beast, a Time Slip or even a prehistoric ghost from the past.

These stories are often put down to cranks and are soon forgotten due to their bizarre nature, but the fact remains that people do still report seeing large flying creatures to this very day.
Here's a recent one:

"Rods" have been proven to be just insects flying in front of the camera and being recorded as a streak. I have even photographed a small cloud of flying bugs myself and saw that they showed up as "rods" in the picture. I don't think there is anything more to this.

Bah - I can't be bothered .. had to do with critters of an "alien" like description being discovered at the bottom of the sea ... why not "something" undiscovered in the upper atmosphere .. never been captured tho, so typical .. inter-dimensional? .. who knows? .. or maybe tea-bags .. probably insects.

Think that sums it up!
