I can vouch for easby abbey having had experiences there in the past

About 4 years ago i was with my ex and we went to easby abbey one afternoon (decided to wallk from richmond along the path from the lesiure centre) must have been later april/may.There are a few things i can clearly rember that i found a tad odd

1 : What sounded like childrens voices, sounded like children playing but in whispers though there was only us there at the time.

2 : Music. We both heard what sounded like a music box chiming though couldnt see anything that would relate to this

3: (This one spooked me) We had a springer spaniel at the time, and anyone who has a springer will know just how bonkers mad these dogs are. In one part of the ruins is a tunnel that's about 50 ft long at a guess. the dog whimperd and wouldnt go right into the tunnel. I went in alone and it appears to be a lot darker (more so than it should ) at the end.Either way i was out of that tunnel pretty quick lol :?

Hope that makes some sense 8)

Ive been there lots of time and use to stay on a farm next to it.I wouldnt say it was haunted .
There is the tale of the Drummer boy as supposidly there is a secret passage from the Abbey to Richmond castle that use to be in use many moons ago.About the only thing scarey ive seen is drunken squaddies jumping off the bridge nearby with no kit on!

LOL toxic -- and u call that scarey

well tbh I would have to say it was active not only due to the fact of the sensitive picking up things whilst there but also the photos we got from there were quite impressive -- I think you should be able to see them on our website.......it is a place id go back too
