The Schooner Hotel is situated in Alnmouth, a small village on the coast of Northumberland. The Village lies at the mouth of the River Aln and was once a thriving seaport. Ships from across the globe would sail to the village carrying Grain and Coal. It was also well known as a smuggling haven and vagabonds. The hotel is a 17th Century coaching house and has been part of the village a long, long time.

The Hotel is well known for its sinister history involving murders, suicides and massacres. It is alledged that 60 ghosts reside within the hotel walls and we are sure, as a Paranormal Group we came across some of these ghosts on our Investigation at The Schooner Hotel on the night of Halloween, Monday 31st October 2005.

Read The Full Investigation HERE

We have conducted a 2nd investigation at The Schooner on the 14 October, 2006 - you can read the report for this latest investigation HERE

Well this location was rubbish, my personal view is that it has been investigated too much and all the ghosties are a bit sick of the living asking them to perform special tricks for them every friday and saturday night.

Andrea

For some strange reason your team always get loads of activity, take a look at the investigation reports, so I dont think we need to frame this one.

Yeah, a bit of a shame that it was a quiet night .. but as long as people still got something out of it, thats good .. and it was good to meet you and 'your lot'!!

Hope to see you all again!!

That's slightly more tricky for me as I have to be in work by 8.30am. What time do investigations normally start and finish?

we try and start invests once it gets dark lol sometimes locations dictate when we can start which can be annoying......
we try and finish when we want but there are times when some locations want us out by a certain time which can also be annoying....

if you want to go doc but have to leave early you are still more than welcome

That's very kind of you. It should still be ok even if it does mean me driving back in the early hours.
