Could the sightings of UFO's (if they are not a military project) be some sort of time traveling vehicle from the future ? i have always thought that its possible.

Could be. I believe we've managed to get particles going faster than the speed of light on a couple of occasions not, so time travel seems a lot more possible than ever before.

I think it was another experiment in China.

I was under the impression that those experiments were found to have errors in the minute calibration of the equipment. It's hardly surprising considering the distances and speeds involved in the experiements though.

As for time travel I like to think it's possible. If it was possible would time travel only be able to take place as far back as the invention of the time travelling device? Would it be possible to travel forward into the future? I always wondered how distortions in space-time would affect theoretical time travel. It's a fantastic thought-experiment.

You may very well be right Scubbins and I missed the 'follow up' stories.
I'll have to look into it.

yeah it was an error, the speed of light remains the max possible speed to travel at.
