As some of you may know, an alien spacecraft allegedly landed near RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk in 1980, and it was witnessed by a number of military personnel.

I have heard, that twice a year, the foresty commision that now owns the land, stages two walkabouts each year.

This incident has always fascinated me, and I am wondering if anybody would like to travel down there with me, on the walkabout ? I am willing to do the driving.

I think it runs regularly now. I have sent off an email to a website.

If you can find any info on the Rendlesham Forest UFO Walk, then please let me know, and we can make arrangements.

Excellent Pam.

It is situated near Woodbridge in Suffolk. The nearest big town, is Ipswich.

The UFO Trail is open all year round, but twice a year, they have a UFO Walk in the forest and around the old airbase.

I have just been sent a link, so I am checking it out now.

Whats that place in North Yorks where the Golf Balls are? I know its a US listening / early warning place - but there used to be a lot of activity around there years ago ..

Ok, will probably get banged up for being a terrorist or something .. but hey! It would be an adventure!!!

Flyingdales would be an interesting evening. Local too.

We could maybe camp near the location, make a base, drink tea and lookout for UFO's whilst talking about ghosts during the dark of the night !

Actually .. just thinking .. wouldn't it be a good idea to clamber up Roseberry Topping and then see for miles around?

Ok - would be an adventure in itself in getting me up there - you'll have to carry me if i haven't packed the ciggies in by then ..

Have a good time in the blistering heat of Greece, Derek.

I am busy most weekends at the moment, but I certainly want to go on the UFO Trail ! :D

I think there is a campsite near to the location, too ?

I went past Fylingdale last Wednesday on my way to Eden camp with my son.

Was some weird things going on. One the way there we saw three large removals vans coming out of the base and on the way back there were three camper vans approaching the gate house!

I've also noticed the warning signs have changed. They used to read "Warning trespassers may be shot without warning"

Now they say something about accordance with MOD trespass law

One or two possible theories could exist ...

They've stopped shooting people who trespass because of all the beyond the grave compensation claims that are going in ..

And

The Camper Vans are for our ET visitors who are calling in and want to go and visit East Anglia like a 'normal' tourist!

I smell something going on here!! They must be hiding something!!!!

I was safe, I had my tin foil hat on all day.
I also noticed my mobile signla went as I went passed the base!!!!

Its got nothing to do with it being right on top of the sodding moors with no mobile phone masts in site mind!
