Are there any psychological pointers that define a sceptic?

All the ones I knew who gave me a hard time at scool were just cynical and lacking in any need to research, get involved or find out for themselves. We were 16 so at that age you do think that you nhave all the answers. Weirdly my opinions have wavered, changed a lot and moved on, I think with experience and maturity. I'm not sure if theirs have. I think some people live the rest of their lives with their heads still at school. Whats that phrase about school being the best days of your life?
For some people it was all they ever did with their lives.
I left school a long time ago and couldn't care less about it. Anyone important from then I'm still in touch with the others need to find something else to with their lives other than pretend we were friends and keep sending me requests on facebook. It all seems a long time a go.
So yes the majority of sceptics I've met have been at school, but then that was probably when I was surrounded with a bigger mix of peoples interests. I think creative people, such as those that I deal with these days are more prone to belief and agnosticism and the more techniclly minded, scientific, maths type people are more prone to scepticism. The least creative people seem to be the most angry about peoples beliefs in my experience. Creative people see it as an interesting thing to explore for their work

Behave like a dumbass & they'll treat you as an equal
