my name's john triplow and i'm currently part of a small paranormal group based in northumberland, supernatural investigations of ghosts in northumbria aka SIGN.

we are setting up a website which should be open to the public soon, it will include reports and pictures based around our findings at locations in the local area.

to date we have investigated woodhorn graveyard, edlingham castle, mitford castle, elsdon gibbet, thirwall castle and the schooner hotel. producing some very interesting evidence and results.

although still under construction here's the link and i'd like to invite you all to take a look when it's up and running, any feedback welcomed!!

thanks :D

thanks guys,
i'm living near ashington at the minute pollen.

my inspiration for the website came from rob kirkup's GOTNE page, basically i started off by going taking pictures in graveyards to buying more equipment and doing a more through investigation , i've had an interest for years but it wasn't until 2007 that i decided to go try it out. when the website was planned, it kind of made sense to form a group. we only have 3 "official" members at present but there are others who join us regular for investigations.

how often do you guys get together anyway?

We try to get at least one investigation and a team meeting every month.

That's cool, I think it's important to have trust and loyalty in the team. I'm very careful about who I select to join.
At the moment we have three full members, although I have a couple regulars helping out.

Yeah we should be getting three copies of his last book. One for each NGI member who wrote bits for it. :D

Can't wait until our book comes out!

I know, I bought a copy. When I said 'our' I meant 'our' as in NGI's book.

How's your book coming along Trips?

Ah right, my apologies! I'm in the process of writing two books at the moment; one with Mike Hallowell and the second is a solo project that has been put on the back burner for the time being. It's great to hear you guys are putting something together, though. :D

Well my 'Toilet Ghosts' one is still on the back burner but I've been cracking on with 'NGI secret project No.27!!!! Der der der.

Mike Hallowell eh. He's certainly become a very prolific writer of books of late along with Mr. Ritsen. Can't wait to read more about it.

Yeah, Mike and Darren are two researchers who I have a huge amount of respect for. Never thought I'd have the chance to work with either of them! We've already completed a couple of chapters on the manuscript, but I can't say much more than that at the moment. It should be a good read once it's finished, though. :D
