I'm going to be upgrading the forums to the brand new snazzy version in the next couple of days so be warned if you come along one time and things look a little different ..

No nothing will be lost ..

The forum we're currently using is version 2.0.whatever .. I'm going to be upgrading to 3.0 ..

Which is technically a brand new version with a whole load of new features ..

Dont worry, I upgraded before xmas and didn't lose anything - version three is more secure, has better admin controls and since upgrading I've had no spam - yet!

This current template wont work though but I expect Jay has found a good one from somewhere.

Lee :D

Ok - its done for now ..

This is only a temporary skin until I can find something more relevent...

There are quite a few extra options knocking around so have a look about (for instance, the option to include photo's) ..

Jay

The forum looks all messed up to me. The font size is huge. Two or three words actually fill the screen.

What can I do to sort it? Its an absolute nightmare at the moment.

I've switched it to the most basic skin with phpBB .. if its screwed up with this skin, then you must have some serious display issues with your pooter ..

What browser are you using?

What is your screen resolution?

My main PC is fk'd because my Daughter spilt water on it. It was an awesome PC too....so Im stuck with a crappy system with Windows 98 until I can afford to get the parts to build a new one.

OK - I've opened up the "skin selector" ..

if you go into "USER CONTROL PANEL" (which you can find up top)

then "BOARD PREFERENCES"

choose the skin the want to use from the drop down menu called "BOARD STYLE" ..

.. at the moment there are only 4 options

Mike - I've forced you onto the basic option for now ..
