Well, it looks like (he says crossing all his bits and pieces) that Lycos have finally come good ..

After sending them 2 emails a week, threatening to sue them on numerous occassions, phoning them up god knows how many times, it looks like, after 3 months, they have finally given up the good fight, unplugged their finger from their ass and FIXED the database issues we've been having ...

Small miracle of mercy - see: perserverence, whinging, determination, never-say-die attitudes NEVER work in good time when the company in question doesn't care less about its paying customers .. its took them 3 months to get round to doing a 20 minute job .. <sigh>

Anyway, hopefully, there shouldn't be any more problems (until the next time!) and we'd like to apologise if there has been any inconvienince .. the <a href="ngiforums" target="_blank">forums</a> have been moved back to their correct place and after a little problem with them, are now working fine.

So .. you ALL know the moral of this story .. don't you?

I'm not going to say it .. 'they' might be watching .. ;)
