Interesting, and what harm is failing going to do to her career? I mean unless she stands up in court, under oath and proves she has a pyschic ability, how can she win?

Its not a witch hunt, its simply that someone allegedly heard information being passed to her from within the audience. This featured in the news, as she was plastered all over our TV screens. The very fact that psychic now have to say "for entertainment purposes only" shows that she hasnt a leg to stand on. Unless she can prove as fact the information she gave came from beyond the grave then she simply cannot win.

The only thing that really gets on my wick about the whole thing is that the 'arch sceptics' have been telling paranormal investigators for years that this kind of 'evidence' isn't worth the paper it's written on, then all of a sudden when a women in Ireland thinks she's heard something that confirms their beliefs then it's proof that Sally is a fraud.

Interesting article. From what I have read around the internet over the months, it could be described as a bit OTT against her. So yes perhaps modern day witch hunt is the right description.

Personally, I really dislike the taking of money in the way she does. I have no issue with the SNU or similiar and platform mediumship (whether you believe or not) but stage mediumship for large amounts of profit has always left a bad taste in the mouth.

So if that is why she is being witch hunted I would agree, but I suspect it is because she irks many hardline sceptics so much (which is understandable). People are fascinated by the idea of mediumship, so her stage act and others like it will always be around. They are largely harmless, but I think they are morally questionable.

witches...
this sounds ordinary to me...
even in my neighborhood i know few witches, they practice all kinds of magic, its some kind of our Slavic pagan kinds or rituals and hexes, and mentally or psychically weak people always fall under their spells,i used to see that...
There are also witches who helps people, people call them here 'white wizards' or something like that, and their rituals are based also on Slavic pagan magic, roots of our slavic people(russians,serbs,slovenians...) ....
one part of me is still skeptical bout this and one is a bit believer...

Yes you are correct with that, not only the above but we have to make sure we are making people aware that we are not gypsies, we do not tell fortunes, we just try our best to recieve messages from past loved ones. It is never guarenteed that we can get the person you wish the message from.

I would never clasify myself as a witch however, I do not make spells, use vooddoo or anything like that, I am a fledging spiritual medium, I will never be a witch and I have no interest in learning their ways.

Us as mediums (or fledging) have had documents thrown in our face to say that we work free for spirit and we do not ask for money if we are doing readings. I have myself done a few readings and never asked for money... I know there are mediums out there that do charge and also know the spiritual church I attend also asks for money for the readings, but that money does not come to the mediums (fledging)

I think they were using the term 'Witch-Hunt' in a metaphorical way.

I've actually described myself as a Witch in the past when I was more into my ritual Magick. Nowadays I tend to just describe myself as a Pagan. Same basic belief system just less Magick and more celebrating Sabats. Which reminds me , It's Imbolc!!!!!!!

There are quite a few videos on youtube, some of which (no pun intended) do seem authentic about witches. Videos show like woman who looks like witches in fields jumping around looking like their casting spells etc etc.

If I find some links I'll post them here.

All the witches I've socialised with have been lovely people.

my god.......witches, wicca whatever, all people who are looking for a niche to fit in to.
Mark wont like this but it happens in Goth circles too, those that wear Victorian costume to those who live as if they are vampires.

Each to their own I guess, but back on topic, its time for Sally to put up or shut up.

I know what you mean Anth. People like to feel like they belong.
It's when they bang on about things constantly that irritates me.

I've got Pagan beliefs because out of all the religions and spiritual paths is the one that most appeals to me.

It is more valid than any of the others? I don't think so.
It's what I get out of it that counts.
