Towards the end of 2011, Northern Ghost Investigations were interviewed by a reporter from the Teesdale Mercury at the reputedly haunted Old Well Inn - Barnard Castle.

The article has recently been published and you can read it here:
http://www.northern-ghost-investigation ... erview.pdf
(this is a pdf version - most people should be able to read the pdf, if not, you'll need Adobe Reader).

I would take some of the statements with a pinch of salt such as 'EMF indicating that there is a ghost in the room' as this is news to us, but all in all it's a good piece that hopefully doesn't paint us too bad a light and the photo isn't bad too! And for some reason, they've put the wrong date on the article!

well it's true I am a self confessed 'horror geek'. I didn't say that high EMF indicates a ghost in the room though. Oh well, it could have been much worse I suppose.

Don't know why the date says 2009 though as the interview took place at the end of 2011.

It's a bit small to read in that format I'm afraid.

I was approached by a journalist, who wanted to conduct an interview with me about my 'ghost hunting' exploits. I thought it best, that it should be with some of my fellow members of NGI, and she kindly agreed. Unfortunately, the interview was never published in The Teesdale Mercury, but it did appear as a rather nice glossy full page publication in the February edition of their Dales Life magazine.
