Hey all,

I know in Darlington, you have visited the forum and the Civic Theatre. Darlington Railway Museum is also haunted. One story is of a woman in white maid clothing who sits in one of the carriages, another is of a ticket clerk who died there and still haunts the place. Also in the mens toilets I think there is a violent spirit. I have heard reports of one man going in there once late at night before they closed up a while ago and apparently was beaten by a spirit. When they found him, he was in the corner, crying with blood pouring from him face.

Not sure if that last one is true but I have heard that one told to me more times than the others.

Might be worth checking out?

Rob

Indeed - Darlington has plenty of historical places that have been redone but loads of history in them

Well if you here of any slightly more obscure places in Darlington that have a haunted reputation we'd love to know.

Nice one. If you can help us get an invo there at some point (or anywhere else in Darlo) I'm sure you'd be welcome to accompany us.

That's it, its called the Blackwell Grange Hotel - I have tried to get my old team in there before and after sending multiple emails I still got no response from them. Not sure if you have you're own ways of asking people?

Threats usually do the trick!!!

Seriously, thanks for that, we may well give it a go. We often find that actually going into places and speaking directly to the owners usually does the trick. That way they see we are nice genuine people and can reassure that there property is not going to be over run.

To be honest most of our recent investigations have been from places asking us to go to them rather than the other way round.

Blackwell grange hotel is where the footballers etc stay, so i doubt they would entertain an investigation. Its quite a snooty place iirc.
