I cant believe people on here think that the McCanns are not guilty of neglect.

Leaving a child under 14 on their own in the UK is a criminal offence.
However if no harm is done it is unlikely that social services and the police would get involved.

So leaving a child aged 3 on their own in a foreign country really is neglect. And whats more the mcCanns should be prosecuted for it, after all as Doctors THEY of ALL people should understand the law on neglect.

As for little maddie, she's dead I have been certain of that since the end of the first week. The case is very similar to that of the little boy ben who was abducted in greece in the early 1990's.

I was sure for a while that Kate knew what had happened to maddie, but now I dunno, theres definately somehting not right, I personally would not tour Europe whilst my kid was missing in Portugal, I would have stayed there.

Well Said Anth. It was neglect, i mean yea we all make mistakes as parents.
I know i have left my 14 yr old son to watch my younger son while i have popped to the shops (gone no more than 15-20 mins ) but he locks the door has the key, has all mobile fone numbers and i ring them, Any parent leaving their kids esp young as 3 and over are wrong to do that but under 4 and 3 kids in a foreign country Neglect it is..

Just heard they are using the Maddy fund to pay off their Mortgage. Not doing themselves any favours, are they.

I think they did it.
