We've made a couple of little changes to the Northern Ghost Investigations website.

Firstly, we've added a bit of Google to the site and you'll notice a few Google Ads knocking around. We've tried to keep away from things like this for the last couple of years but hopefully they'll help us to pay our server costs (250,000 page views in August kinda eats into our bandwidth!! But thanks for the attention!!).

Hopefully, they won't get in the way too much and interfere with your NGI experience but if you see something you fancy come up, don't be afraid to click away and explore.

We've also launched the NGI Banner Exchange Program and you'll find a link on top of the menu bar to the right on the main website. So if you have a website and would like to exchange banners with NGI and link to each other, then pop across and follow the instructions.

As an addition to the Banner Echange Program, we've launched a new paranormal links page to complement it. No point in exchanging banners if we have nowhere to show yours!! At the time of writing, you'll find a couple of our friends already listed.

Finally, we've revamped and changed our Chat facilities and linked access to them from the NGI Forums. People now actually go into Chat and talk!! So if you want to chat with the NGI lot or any of our valued buddies - you can now do so either through the forums or through chat - you'll be more than welcome whichever you choose.

Which will be through them both ... won't it?

Happy ghost hunting!

it is a shame that we've had to do it but as you say we need to pay for it somehow, still they're not that in your face so should be ok

we managed to do it with our page for years without havingg ads but with cost of domain and host we had to add a few. it takes time but soon it has stuff related to site

Sometimes it has to be done, but like you say its not dominant like some

It's a shame about the ads, personally I hate them and they ruin the page. Do they really bring in enough income to justify them?

If hosting costs that much perhaps you should look at changing your host and transferring your domain - I did.

I use Telivo - see how they compare http://www.telivo.com/

Lee

ps,

Thanks for the banner, I'm working on NGI's now!

How much comes in depends on how many people click on the ads, like mine its taken 2 years to get to
