Its been a long time coming but it finally happenned last Friday night.

NGI jumped in their motors and headed off to Stanley where we had an investigation lined up. Everything had been sorted out, Pam had spoken to the manageress of the location just two days beforehand, everything was fine ..

.. Until we got there. The manageress had forgot!! To be fair, she was ill too and had been off work but she'd forget to tell the staff that NGI were turning up for an investigation and so nobody knew we were coming!

So after 3 years of NGI investigations - it finally happenned - we turned up at a planned investigation and had to come on home again without doing anything.

Well in truth, we didn't go straight home. We decided to try and do something. We headed off to 'somewhere' - I don't know where, I was just following the car in front - which was difficult in the fog and the fact I was in my dads <cough> Skoda. But this 'somewhere' was the site of an old abandoned church and graveyard. Sadly, the church was no longer there but there were plenty of gravestones and a few boarded up vaults which we were unable to access.

The graveyard was out of the way and I must say a very calming and relaxing enviroment, but there wasn't much in the way of activity going on, but Pam did get the photograph you see on this page. Mist. As usual, make of it as you will.

After a while, those who were left headed off to Hylton Castle for a hour or so and after a sit in the ruined chapel and a walk in the spooky woods we called it a night.

Heres hoping its at least another 3 years before the scenario we had on Friday crops up again - I could of stayed home and watched the telly!!

The picture Carl and I got was good. Looking at it closer I thought I could make out the outline of a woman.

The Problem is we sometimes think we see things in pictures which arnt there. Now some may have a vision in their heads of a woman so when they look at your picture they will probably see the same i.e remember manhattens pic..lol But it would be interesting to take a look though sharon.

no need to apologise pam, it wasn't your fault. these things happen unfortunatly. may i suggest that on a day of an investigation that someone rings the place for final confirmation. that way it reminds them that we are turning up.
