Looks like 'Haunted Stockton' is coming out in September.
Let's hope it's better than 'Haunted Middlesbrough'.

NGI contacted the author when he was looking for stories while writing it, and we didn't get a reply. On his head be it is all I can say.

it probably couldnt be any worse than Haunted Middlesbrough.
Although it IS Stockton and well, Middlesbrough is better than Stockton.

If he misses out Manhattens - then he wants shooting .. and if he does include it and hasn't spoken to NGI about it - he wants shooting twice - given we are the only group to do the place (I think!) .. The "most haunted" place on Teesside IMHO!

I'm guessing it will be another retelling of all the usual 'stories'. Time will tell I guess.

I look forward to reading up on it when it is out. Although haunted Middlesbrough does have a few things in about Stockton itself (that is why they should of started with Stockton, Stockton has more haunted places then middlesbrough surley)

Well the author brought out a small book called Supernatural Cleveland many years ago, in which Stockton featured heavily. I do hope that this new book is not just a re-hash of the same old stories.

As soon as the book comes out I expect some of the more 'unknown' places will experience a glut of requests from paranormal groups eager to find new place to hold their 'guest nights'.

Apparently the pub crew know of someone in Hartburn that has a house which was haunted by a poltigiest and it is in this book. Whenever he goes to pub he does not want anyone talking about it, he had many mediums and preists in the house. Looks like the house has been clear for a year now. But everyone has been advised not to talk about it when he goes to pub as it is a sore topic. Not sure if I have met this guy

It will probably be in there as the story was in 'Supernatural Cleveland' years ago which was by the same author . Let's hope he got some new tales in there.

I still can't find this book yet. You'd think they'd want it in local shops before halloween. Looks like I may have to order it online like you Ange.
