Probably the only 'ghost' film that as ever ever really scared me. And I still watched it about 20 times when I was a teenager.

I dunno what it was about it. It just spooked me out ..

It actually got banned for a while (or so the hype went) before being re-released a few years back called Retribution (i think).

Well worth a watch, altho by todays standards, it maybe a little tame ..

American Werewolf .In London . .yeah, thats a quality film - the werewolf on that - specifically the changing into it, was great - especially considering it was years ago now ..

Oh hang on ... I've just had a flash .. I remember now .. cool .. 8)

Actually, the scariest bit in that film to me was when the main guy in the film was reading about the history of the place and the guy in the flashback was in the winery with the wine press .. thats the bit the spooked me the most ... :|

Well that was strange, I've just noticed this post! Guess what film I bought at the weekend? That's right - Superstition. :D

I was also a bit freaked out by it as a kid so I was keen to see if it still had the same effect on me. Whilst it does have a very 80's feel to it now, I must say that I really enjoyed watching it again. A forgotten gem!

I don't have it anymore Kris .. but, its old now (20 odd years) and probably tame by todays standards - I mentioned up top - it was on TV a few years back and it was nothing (in "uncomfortable" terms) as it was back then ..

I have'nt seen this film, but one that did have a lasting impression was The Entity, based on a true story about Carla Moran, an American who was repeatedly sexually attacked by an unseen attacker and sometimes attackers, now that's scary, and not because of any special effects
