The Exorcist 1, the original Nightmare on Elm Street, Paranormal Activity.
First one as good storyline (even though not true to actual events), great music and message that good sometimes cannot always win unscathed. Second as it was really scary for the 14 yr old I was lol, and also for the concept of a dream demon affecting the real world. Third one as actually a lot fo the stuff in the film gets reported every day bvy peeps and missed.

Also got mention the poltergeist films, and amityville lol

Hmm amityville as although a bit bloody n guts at times interested me that it could just as easily have been psychopathic tendencies rather than anything supernatural. And as for polt, the general creepiness i guess. Cmon Claire, fix us up an invo in a really really creepy location lol

1. The Exorcist (Just about perfect in every way)
2. The Wicker Man (Great Script and Great Soundtrack)
3. The Thing - John Carpenter (Great effects for the age, Great tension)
