Anyone watching the new series of Doctor Who or Torchwood. I'm enjoying them both however part of me worries that Doctor Who may be catering too much for the nerds like me and alienating the casual viewer.

I actually recorded all the new Torchwoods but deleted them without watching - heard too many "bad" vibes about it. The first and second series were great .. the big one a couple of years back was "ok" (Children of the watchamacallit??) ... Since they killed off the original team, its gone downhill .. And moving it to America .. hhhmm .. no.

This new Torchwood has had a few dodgy episodes but all in all I've quite enjoyed it.

I liked the first series of Torchwood, but then stopped watching for no particular reason. I tried watching a couple of episodes of this latest series, and found the American/British mix hard to watch. For me, I'm not sure it worked, but I really liked the original concept set underneath Cardiff..
