Hi,

I do not want to sound like a crazy women, but I am really afraid for my daughter. We have lived in our current house for almost 7 years now, and she has always been wary here. She often says she's heard footsteps, heavy breathing and unusual noises of doors slamming etc. Recently she has become extremely stressed over the situation. Last week I woke to her screaming, she was having a major panic attack, had wet the bed and was extremely terriefied. It took me over an hour to calm her down. She had been downstairs when she heard a man whistling. It followed her to her bedroom. She has become so scared that she now sleeps on the floor in my bedroom every night, she will not stay in a room on her own and she is now refusing to undress to have a bath or shower, she goes to her nans instead.

Her mobile phones dont last long either, they have a habit of doing random things. The latest was a message typed on it which clearly reads FEAR. I am really worried as I dont know how to protect her, I dont know if there is anything in the house. There is always a sense that you are being watched, and friends have commented on the noises in the kitchen (doors banging etc) when they have stayed over.

Is there anyone who could offer me some advice as I am really concerned for my daughters health and well being.

Many thanks to anyone who can help

Paula

Hi Paula,
Thanks for coming to our boards. I think we may be able to offer some assistance.
First and foremost is the well being of your daughter and I think you are doing the right thing letting her sleep in your room for the time being.

I'll see if I can get one of the team to give you a call or speak with you privately if you so wish.

And I know it sounds easy to say, but dont worry and dont stress too much. I am sure we can find a solution to the problem you have reported.

Regards

Anth

Hi Paula,

Sorry to hear that you are going through a rough patch, although I'm almost certain that it is nothing to worry about. I know that is easy to say that, and it doesn't help things with your daughter, but NGI will send you a private message shortly with some advice for you away from a public forum.

For now I would suggest you just try to carry on as normal and put all thoughts of 'spirits' out of your head.

Mark
