Whoever gets to see this first LOL

Ive tired to do all the meditation bit and tried to make contact with my spirit guide.
Ive read Mia Dolens book which i found really good on certain things but not others!

Anyway ive tried her techniques and had no success. I know that spirit guides come to you when they know your ready but id like to know who or what mine is!!

hi blubird
the fact you are trying to hard to contact them can be very off putting when you seem to be trying so much.

your guides will come to you when they feel you are ready to work with them.
go back to the meditation and just concentrate on the tecnique allow yourself to relax,if you practisce on this youre guides will come to you.
i do feel they are very close to you and will come soon to you.

Thats the thing though Eddie I dont think i try hard enough LOL

I have times when i do practice my meditation, and then dont do it for months on end!

I dont really try and find them, if that makes sense, just meditate and just go with the flow.
A friend told me a meditation technique, he is a really excellent medium, and i use that.
Basically i end up sitting by a pond on a bench and my spirit guide is able to aproach me when ever. But i usually end up falling asleep waiting

ok explain how you are before the meditation
sitting up right or what?
what time are you practiscing it morning afternoon or night
then the steps you go through

from this i will see if there is anything you need to try differently

ummmmm, thanks Eddie its greatly appreciated xx

Right ive tried lying down and sitting up. When im sitting up i usually dont fall asleep but i find i cant go into a really good medative state like that. I find im more aware of other stimulie that way.
During the say im normally working and weekends are usually to busy LOL

So id say normally i meditate on my bed, which probably isnt the best place LOL
I would normally try relaxing before meditation, which is sometimes difficult lol
And as for time of day, normally earlyish evening mabye around nine.

My state of mind is normally good because generally ive prepared before i i do it, and im quite good at clearing my mind and not thinking of anything.
I normally do the ummmm chakra (not spealt?????) thing first, you know open up all my points and use the white light.
Then ill go to my pond and sit on the bench and just relax.

dinnae do the meditation in bed nor do it lying down, youre subconscious relates this to sleep and there for you will fall asleep.
sitting up right ,feet firmly on the floor no legs or arms crossed over.
who is guiding the meditation are you using a cd or trying to guide yourself.

the whole art is realy getting the very peacfull and relaxed state.
then to find your own energys, sensing and feeling around you in what i term our own space.
the next part is to invite and allow yous guides to come ,and come close,to you.

dont panick that you havent found your guide as i know people who have been meditating for a long time but still cant.
but they do keep trying kowing that 1 day they willfind them

I know how frustrating it can be. I waited years to meet mine, he stayed for a little while then totally backed off again for what seemed a lifetime. I was told that guides can take a step back and allow you to deal with certain issues that may arise during our lifes journey. They will come to you when the time is right :)

spirit guides know when you are ready and also when you need time.
what you say is very corect heidi ,what we must remeber is they know us better than we know our selves

hi there bluebird :D right, just rad your mail been to whitby,,, weird,,what i did was to sit somewhere peaceful, relaxed and at ease with everything around, light 5 white candles, and concentrate on the light of them surrounding you and all of your being, there will be someone that you will see a image of , theywill be right at the forsight of your mind, imagine that person next to you and you are having a conversation with them,, that is one of your spirit guides you really can here them call there name to you, keep asking if there is anymore with them yu will get a answer fron him or her, you can then begin to ask all the questions yu want, and they will always tell the truth,, try to do it when the moon is full, knock the light off in the romm that yu are in , and be guided by the moon and candlelight, your answers will come true,, or and by the way :D i do thinkyu have 2 yyour friend pam
