what i am saying is what they were original built for was to check electro magnetic fields - not in paranormal investigations but in everyday life. but since we make our own magnetic field these really have no use as you will just pick up your own field when you are looking for soething else in everday life

bearing in mind that the actual machines are powered by - battery which surely gives off a magnetic field to

Well dont use them then! If u are holding one and crete a field you will get a postive/negative reading the reading will be between 5mg - 6mg its common sense to know the difference. but dont use them its not an issue! main tools for this kinda thing is wits and ya common sense anyway.

.. Tell me Dr Andrea .. .. how can you come to that scientific conclusion without examining the door? Not knowing the weather that day? Not filming it ? etc etc etc .. You've immediately reached out and came up with the first rationale reason that fits in with your sceptical world view without any investigation into whether thats possible .. not very scientific is it? Makes you just as bad as the Creaky Floorboard brigade .. doesn't it?? :D

Oh Lordy! I see the "creaky floor board brigade" and "Ciaran O'Keefe fan club" are at loggerheads again . I think I'll take the middle groud, if you all dont mind.

they are used mainly by the baseline team to do the checks aren't they andrea?

i'm on the understanding that when we use them to ask a spirit to come into the electro magnetic field we are looking for a huge change in the reading from the normal which would have been checked and recorded during the baselines. still then we have to rule out that it was a power surge which is where the sceptics and baseline team come in,

yup thats what im saying, if checks are done propely then if a EMF is placed in the centre of a room or near something where we know there are no cables etc then if we get a postive reading then we will know what caused it if anything or if there was no reason it should have gone off.

yeah i have one of those too - ah yes there is an on off switch on that one, the other type though you need to press the button on the side to activate them so that would be case of regularly activating them to leave them by themselves

Ok so tonight whilst laughing hard at the RUBBISH England football team me and the boy decided to take some photo's,we had the door to the living room 3/4 open so we could hear the Circus when all of a sudden the door closed it's self sending the boy running for the hills ,we both looked at the door and tested it for a little while and no way could this have moved on it's own from the position it was in without some external force being applied.

I guess someone wanted to watch the *Cough* football in peace.
