When I lived at my old house, there was hardly a week went by without someone coming up and saying hello or asking me if I was going to such and such a place. Thing is, I didn't know them from adam! also, they always got my name wrong. So, obviously, mistaken identity.
But ... my mother's employer told her one day that I had been playing guitar the previous night, on stage, in front of a crowd of which he was one, (thankfully I was 'bloody good on the guitar' lol  ). Now, I was not and never have been in a band, and the bloke relating the info, saw me every day, when I picked my mom up from work :?:
Then a while later I went into our local post office to get some stamps, and the woman behind the counter, who'd known me for years, asked me what I'd forgotten, as I'd just been in there, which I hadn't.
Baffling, but just stuff, life's full of it, eh?

"Stuff" is great .. "Stuff" happens all the time .. sadly, tho, we're usually so pre-occupied with life that "Stuff" just passes most people by and they don't take any notice of it (or worse - they do notice and then choose to ignore it!).

Welcome to the forum, BTW!

I had one at scarbrough years ago apparently.......'it' gpt me barred from a pub I'd not been in before (took a dwarf to sort it with the landlord that I was not who he thought I was) and got me barred from the co-op (luckily,by chance my neighbour who did security was there at that time ,he did security dogs for em and we used to chat bout dogs cos he liked my dogs and told them it couldnt have been me cos I had green hair when I apparently robbed em and he could vouch for em....not black like I was being accused ofhaving)......lucky tho, or I'd have been fucked, cos I wasnt going 'happily' hehehehe!

Never met her tho!

I have frequently been mistaken for Brad Pitt......by the blind and the mentally deranged. Tho when I was bit more fit peeps used to say I was a mini Steve Austin....as in the wrestler ..not the 6 mill dollar man..and that showing my age too..gonna stop now. :?
