The Cleveland Tontine is situated at the junction of the present A19 and A172 - both roads being of ancient origin (from York and Thirsk toYarm and Stockton on the west (A19) and to the east to Stokesley, Guisborough, and to the coast (Redcar Marske and over the moors to Whitby).

The Bar and Bistro
The Bar & Bistro is a large 'L' shaped room on the second floor of the Tontine. Its bar area is garishly decorated with both soft and hard chairs and wildly distributed tables. Up a small number of steps we enter the Bistro which is primarily dominated by a large circular table surrounded by chairs with a number of other table and chair sets strewn around the room.
Group 1 Report : Jay Mark Pam
22.15 Mark and Jay are sat in silence. There are a few quiet taps followed by a louder bang and the sound of footsteps.
22.18 A 'rumbling noise' is heard. Mark calls out and the noise is repeated. This is followed by a few 'clicks' near Jay who is seated.
22.22 Mark and Jay are joined by Pam who immediately hears a 'whisper'.
22.23 Pam says she can see a 'shadow in the corner (Corner to the right when you are standing in the entrance) and sounds scared.
22.26 Jay's 'Hearing Enhancer' gadget starts to make whistling noises when he points it towards Pam.
22.30 Pam starts to pick up on a lady called 'Anne'.
22.31 Jay claims he saw a light that didn't appear to be the same as the lights caused by passing traffic.
22.32 Pam starts to communicate with 'spirit'. She asks Anne to 'do something' and immediately there is a 'Ting' noise.
22.33 Pam says she can definitely feel a presence. There is a fairly loud noise that sounds like a chair being scraped across the floor. Mark runs to investigate and goes out into the 'base room area' to make sure that there isn't anyone out there who could have made the noise.
Pam walks towards the door to the room which Mark has just gone through (unbeknown to Jay). Jay is a few feet behind Pam when he sees what he "assumes to be Mark" stood next to the large pot plant near the door.
As Pam passes this dark figure, the figure steps out behind Pam and begins to follow her. Jay says something to the figure who he assumes to be Mark, but there is no reply. Pam reaches out for the door handle and Jay waches the figure walk deeper into the Bistro and away from Pam. The noise of the door handle confuses Jay - he'd only just heard the door go and assumed it was Mark who'd gone through the door (it WAS Mark who'd gone through the door). Jay asks the dark figure, still assuming it is Mark, whether he had heard the door go. Obviously, there is no reply. Pam now opens the door to go through it to be met by the 'real Mark' who has been outside for the last couple of minutes.
As soon as the door opens and floods the room with light the dark figure is no longer visible. As the group is discussing the event, Mark feels a strong cold breeze hit him. The breeze is so strong that it causes the large pot plant's leaves to rustle. The area around the plant and the chairs where the 'dark figure' had been standing is checked with an EMF meter. The area gives of a slight EMF reading although it is too small to accurately read.
As Mark is doing the EMF checks. Jay hears what sounds like a 'few breaths'.
22.45 Pam feels 'hands up her back'. No EMF is detected after a check of her back by Mark. Pam is standing with her hands on a table and calling out for spirit to move it. She says that there is a slight movement in the table.
Group 2 Report : Bekki Derek Carol
This time we were joined by Dell, Julie and a little later on, Pam & Derek joined us in here too. Dell and Julie sat around a little table in a corner in the bar area of the bistro, Pam sat at the back of the room on what I think was a chaise lounge (it was dark!) seat, Carol sat on a chair which backed on to a mirror and Derek was in the other part of the bistro where the tables and chairs were.
Pam called out, and a knock or tapping sound was heard from the table where Dell and Julie were sat. Pam, Dell and Julie all heard this but sadly Carol didn't.
Pam certainly didn't like the feelings she was getting in the part of the room she was in, so she left this area and asked Carol to go and sit there to see what would happen, which she did.
She started to call out in conjunction with Pam in a goading fashion. It was starting to get interesting with a few noises in the room but sadly we had to leave, as our time in the Tontine had come to an end.
Group 3 Report : Claire Dell Julie
Unfortunately, due to a mix up with the times with the Tontines owners, we didn't get to fully investigate this area properly (due to a run over in room 5, Claire never got into the Bistro at all!).
In the short time Dell and Julie were present, however, they were joined by Carol, Derek and Pam from other groups.
Just as things were getting interesting in the room - including a tapping on the table where most of the people present were sat, we had to leave.

The Piano Room
This is a medium sized room with a large piano situated in one corner. A number of small tables and chairs surround the room against the walls while leaving open floorspace in the middle of the room. Two large mirrors dominate the walls and a small door way can be found in one corner of the room which leads to a kitchen area.
Group 1 Report : Jay Mark Pam
23.10 Pam picks up on a "Man with a stern face" and gets the name "George Hardwick". Jay reveals that there is a famous man with football connections called George Hardwick. Jay is seated in the far corner away from the piano when he smells perfume. He also hears a hissing sound.
Pam goes on to say that she can see George Hardwick 'writing in a book' She feels that he 'did a lot of business here' and 'has come to see the lady'. The ladies name Pam feels is 'Cathleen Merton'.
23.15 Pam says she feels very hot. Her temperature is approx. 25.3?C (Jay's temperature is 27.4?C).
23.17 Pam stats to sense a dog. It is a black springer spaniel with a white tip on it's tail and it's nose.
23.18 Electrical interference on Jay's 'Hearing Enhancer'. The interference has the 'rhythm of a train'.
Pam says she now feels 'very cold'. Her temperature has dropped 6?C to 19.3?C.
23.23 Pam says that she is experiencing 'pains in he knuckles'.
23.34 Mark is at the piano hitting a few keys. Pam says that 'George is leaning over Mark at the piano'. Mark feels nothing.
23.37 There is a knock from under the table near Pam. This causes her to jump.
23.43 Jay starts to get 'spaced out' feelings. Pam says that Mark (sat at the Piano) has transfigured, and appears to be wearing a black cloak and cowl.
Group 2 Report : Bekki Derek Carol
Derek, Bekki and myself sat for a while to acclimatize to the surroundings, when this was achieved Carol started calling out. Bekki sensed a presence of a man near the doorway, which lead into the kitchen area. Carol personally and neither did Derek, felt this feeling of a presence but Carol made her way towards the door in question regardless, under the guidance of Bekki. She said she could see a darkness around the door entrance, especially next to Carol, and that the male presence appeared to not want to come any further in to the room itself. Carol called out to the presence to try and cajole it to come further in to the room, but Bekki felt that this was not going to happen, so Carol returned to where she was seated originally.
A little bit later on, Bekki felt another presence enter the room. This time she felt 2 spirit presences, which she said were those of 2 children, a male and female. She said she felt that they were brother and sister, with the eldest being the female, who was possibly around 10 years of age, and the male child was about 5 or 6 years old. Bekki felt this very strongly, and commented that she felt cold around her body, as if they were standing close to her, certainly around her back she felt a drop in temperature at one point. She felt as if one of the spirits was actually standing behind her, with the other one standing by her side.
Again both Derek and Carol couldn't actually feel this, but Carol called out again and proceeded to ask these children questions. Carol spoke to them as if she was relating to her own children, and tried to cajole them to hold her hand instead of Bekkis, who by this time felt as though one of the spirits had touched her right hand. Carol wanted to feel this sensation that Bekki was experiencing for myself, so tried her hardest to get some form of reaction, but sadly this didn't occur. However, Carol did ask them questions and as Carol did so, she got them to squeeze Bekkis hand in conjunction with the questions being asked.
From this we gleamed that the children possibly visited this room to watch work being carried out, Carol thinks Bekki said a butler or something similar. Bekki also felt the children may have died in a fire in this room???
Bekki felt that the children, especially the female, wanted to leave and were quite shy of us. Bekki said they felt safer with her, hence why they remained around her constantly. When they were due to leave, the female, Bekki felt, was trying to take the little boy away with her but that he didn't really want to go, eventually he did go, this is when Bekki said they had gone from the room at this point. The male presence at the door, which had been there constantly, left also. At this point it was time to leave this location and go to another one.

The Attic
The Attic is entered by a set of steep stairs which lead to a very small landing. There are two rooms flanking the landing on the left and the right. On the left can be found a very ordered and very tidy plate and glass storage area with a number of almost room length standing shelves where the plates and glasses are stored. On the right, is a cluttered room which can barely be entered without clambering over bits and pieces of whatever is stored here. In this room is a dummy of a naked man which is referred to below.
Group 1 Report : Jay Mark Pam
Pam is in 'naked dummy room' (called such because of - well - a male naked dummy in placed in a vulnerable position), Jay on the Stairwell and Mark in the 'left hand room'.
Pam says she can hear clicks in her room. Soon after the door squeaks at the bottom of the stairs.
00.15 Pam senses 'children'. Jay stats to get the 'heebie jebbies', and a few taps are reported. Pam calls out for the spirits to 'come closer' and psychically hears the words 'closer than you think'. Pam says that there is a girl and a boy and that there girl is called Jenny. Pam hears Jenny say 'The door behind the man'.
There are a couple of doors/hatches in the room which are then opened. Pam says that this is 'where they play'.
Pam moves to join Mark in the left hand side room. She tries to communicate with the 'children' with little response. As she gets up to leave, Mark notices her bottle of soft drink is stood on it's end, upside down with it's lid on the floor. Pam swears that she didn't put it down like that.
As the vigil comes to an end, Pam picks up that the little boys name is Matthew and that he is the little girls brother.
Group 2 Report : Bekki Derek Carol
Bekki felt very, very uneasy in this location it has to be said, she reluctantly went up the stairs. Bekki sometime earlier felt sick and unnerved about this particular location. It was when she first looked around the allocated locations at the beginning of the night this happened, and we were 'all' looking around to get a feel for the place before the actual investigations started, so it was no surprise that she felt this sensation once again here.
Bekki felt that a presence of a man was standing on the top of the stairs, and wouldn't let her come up. She said it felt very threatening to her, and scared her quite a bit. Again even though both Derek and Carol felt nothing untoward, Carol called out and tried to goad the male spirit into 'bullying' her instead of Bekki.
At one point Bekki sensed that little male spirit she had encountered earlier in the Piano Room, was here in the attic area now with us too. She said the little boy was in the room off the landing area - right hand side room, where the glasses and pots are kept. Bekki felt that little boy had been punished in this location, and was very scared to come out of this room, due to the adult male presence blocking the doorway entrance on to the landing area.
This was the same male presence that was threatening Bekki, so Carol acted as the go-between, goading the male spirit at the doorway and at the same time cajoling the little boy spirit to come with me and go towards Bekki. At this point Bekki had to leave the location, she felt very unwell and needed to go down the stairs immediately, she remained outside for the rest of the vigil.
This left Derek and Carol in the Attic, so between them they tried to cause a reaction by calling out and goading. They both felt nothing in this location it has to be said, and although Bekki did feel and experience things, sadly for Derek and Carol it wasn't the case.
Group 3 Report : Claire Dell Julie
At first Dell took temperature readings and I took EMF readings. There were no unusual emf readings anywhere other than areas where this would be expected around the electrical wiring etc.
As there was a lot of 'junk' up there not all the room was able to be accessed by foot but readings were taken from all the areas able to be accessed easily.
In the room on the right the temperature ranged from 57.3 (highest) to 52.6 (lowest) in the same area (centre) of the room throughout the vigil . The temperature was naturally lower round the windows but this remained pretty constant, however in the centre of the room there was a gradual drop over time, and sometimes it rose again a few degrees. It did not seem to matter if people were in the room or not, in fact it dropped a few times when we were all in and rose when we weren't (as well as the other way around at times too), which ruled out the possibility of our body temps affecting this. We could find no cause for it, no 'draughts' could be sourced etc.
After doing the initial readings Claire was stood in this room (3-5 minutes into the vigil) facing the electric cupboard in the corner and Dell was nearer the door and Julie was out of the room (either in the other room or at the top of the stairs) when Claire saw the lights flash 3 times in quick succession towards the door area but high up. Just wanting to make sure the others had seen this too to rule out anything else she asked Dell and Julie if they had just seen the lights flash or flicker. They said they had not. This surprised Claire, because she almost never mentioned it just presuming it was the bulb flickering and she saw it really clearly as a bright then black flash 3 times. She didn't experience it again and no cause was found for it, it was not a reflection off anything we could recreate or find etc.
Dell and Claire called out in here but didn?t get any noticeable response. There were the odd taps and clicks but we put them down to them just being the natural sounds for that room, and some of them we put down to the fact that Carol had moved the dummy on the walk around and it was the 'bag' he was now sat on which was just making these noises as it 'settled'.
Claire sat at the top of the stairs facing the left had room wall for a few moments and the right side of her leg felt cooler than the left. She couldn't work out why but didn't think much of it, She presume it was some cold air from the room she was experiencing.
Dell and Claire joined Julie who was filming in the left room. It felt cooler in here and dusty. The temperature in here ranged from 50.3 in the centre of the room to 47.9 around the windows. These readings remained pretty constant during the vigils.
She said her left leg felt really hot, especially her bottom and the right side of her calf. Her bottom gave a constant temp reading of 61.3 and her calf was 57.6. whilst her foot temperature was 52.7. She said she also felt a tightening of her chest in here, which was unusual for her but she put it down the 'dusty' atmosphere.
Both Dell and Claire called out in here but didn?t get any responses. Claire left the room and stood facing the right side room at the top of the stairs. Whilst stood she noticed her right leg felt noticeably cooler than her left leg. This was the opposite way around from when she'd been sat here about 10 minutes earlier; it if was due to a draught etc then she would have felt it on the opposite leg as I was facing the opposite way. It only lasted about 2 minutes then the sensation stopped.
She went back into the right room with Dell and we called out again but got no response we were aware of. Claire got the name 'Richard Whittaker' in her head but she sensed no energy linked to it. Claire then went back and sat at the top of the stairs facing the left room again but there was no sensation in either of her legs this time. Whilst sat there she got the image of a white parrot - cockatoo with a yellow plummage in her head. Also the song 'James the Cat' was in her head when she sat there. She did not sense any energy, or any animals, she just saw the image of the large bird and it was accompanied with the song she could hear in her head.

Room 3
This is just a fairly standard (although large) hotel room containing a king-sized bed and a smaller childs bed in the corner and typical bedroom furniture such as dressers and wardrobes. There is an en-suite bathroom which holds no surprises.
Group 1 Report : Jay Mark Pam
Mark is on his own. Pam has been called to room Five by Claire and Jay is having a fag/also in room five. Mark lies on the bed and calls out but there is little response save from a few noises in the corner which sound like water pipes.
Mark is later joined by Jay. The energy in the room feels flat. Mark and Jay engage in conversation for a while. Jay claims that he feels the sheet on the bed get tugged from the bottom. This is not felt by Mark.
The rest of the Vigil is uneventful.
Group 2 Report : Bekki Derek Carol
This room was the room that earlier in the night, Pam for a joke, had locked Claire in, who had gone to spend a penny.
According to Claire, when she came out of the toilet she nearly tripped over a table that had previously been situated next to the double bed, but was now in the middle of the floor, blocking her path to the door.
Claire questioned if any of 'us' had moved the table to this position for a laugh, but none of us had. When Bekki, Derek and Carol went into this room, we made sure the table was back in its rightful place by the bed. Carol went in to the bathroom for her vigil, Derek was near the cot or child's bed and Bekki was on the bed with her feet on the said table.
Carol felt nothing in the bathroom, so came back out in to the bedroom area. Bekki felt something around her feet that was trying to move the table which was a strange coincidence, especially with regards the incident with Claire and 'that' table earlier.
We all agreed that this location, apart from that particular incident, was very quiet.
Group 3 Report : Claire Dell Julie
Before starting the investigation, Claire went to the toilet in Room 3 and had a strange event happen that she couldn't explain. In her own words :
Bekki showed me where it was and Carol came in to see the room also. Bekki said she had felt 'watched' when she used it before. I went to the toilet and when I came out the room was in darkness and empty.
For some reason I didnt want to make my way the very short distance (10 footish ?) from the bathroom to the room door in the dark so I left the bathroom light on as I headed for the door (intending to open the door and then come back and switch the bathroom light off once the door was open). As I just passed the wardrobe I tripped over something and had to put my hands out on it to steady myself. I was a bit disorientated and 'clattered' a bit until I opened the door, by which time others in the corridor had come to see what the noise was.
I had walked into the wooden 'luggage trolley' . I 'presumed' Carol and Bekki had moved the luggage trolley and put it in the way so I'd trip over it as a wind up, however they said they had not. Bekki said it definitely was at the side of the bed when she was last in the room (which was less than a minute before), and there was no way I would have knocked this the way I walked; when I tripped over it, it was to the side of the wardrobe in the 'aisle' about 2 foot from the door.
Nobody had been in the room prior to them leaving it and me 'clattering' as they had been in the corridor outside with some of the others. There was no reason I can find for the trolley being where it was. I know I did not knock it or go near where Bekki said it was when she had left the room under 1 minute before. I hit it with the front of my legs ( from which as I was walking straight ahead I'm deducing that it was 'in front' of me ) and it moved ahead and into the door when I hit it ( I had to move it to get the door open). It was quite heavy and wouldn't have 'rolled' on its own as I tried to replicate if it had somehow not been stable and movement in the room / traffic outside had caused it to move; however I could find no way to get it to move in any other way and it would have moved about a foot if not more to where I tripped over it from its original position less than a minute before.
If I had touched it in anyway in its original place and 'knocked it' to in front of the door (which I know I didn?t anyway because it was too far away from where I was) I would have hit it with the side of my legs, not the front.
Dell took temperature readings and I took EMF readings. Throughout the vigil in here the room temp ranged from 75.9 to 73.5. We all remarked it felt really warm in here and shed our coats etc. The heating was on and we didn't want to shut the window however we did, so the noise of the traffic outside would be reduced.
There were no unusual emf readings in here or the bathroom. There was a high reading given around the wires trailing on the floor and going up the external wall in between the 2 windows. We presumed that this was where the wires were running etc as the reading was constant and in 'lines' running up and down the same as it is when it hits 'wires'.
Claire checked the luggage trolley and positioned it next to the bed in a way which we'd 'notice' if it moved. Julie and Dell noticed strange marks on the foot of the left side of the bed. They both thought they looked like a cat had been sat on there and Julie asked if the venue had a cat which was allowed into the bedroom to sit on the bed. It looked to Claire like something had made an imprint, although she couldn't say what. Claire checked closely for any kind of animal hair but couldn't find even one. To her this imprint could have been anything that had been placed on her and lifted straight up. It seemed to have 4 'corners' which were making the indents I thought. At the end of the vigil however Jay came in and Julie asked him what he thought the marks on the end of the bed looked like and straight away he said '' like a cat had sat there ''.
Dell said he didn?t like the small single bed which was diagonally across the far end of the room. He said he wouldn?t sleep in it. Julie said she didn?t like it either but Claire didn?t feel anything about it either way. Dell seemed to feel very strongly about this and remarked on how he didn?t like it several times during the vigil.
We all sat on the bed and Julie was filming the room. Throughout this vigil Claire kept getting a strong smell of perfume with a 'heavy alcohol base' at various times. Dell said on entering he'd smelt a woman?s perfume very strongly, which he now thought was odd as the window was open at the time when we entered and had been since we'd arrived.
Dell and Claire called out when sat on the bed and at one point Claire sensed a strong energy from the left corner near the window wall. She also thought she saw a shadow there but wasn't certain.
Claire then felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her hand around and between her little and ring fingers, which she'd not had before. It lasted about 2-3 second then stopped.
Julie said she saw an old woman?s face with a pointed chin and a pointed nose (like a witch) in the mirror when filming. She said it could have been the vase of flowers in front of the mirror which had cause her to see this and would be checking the video footage carefully.
We did hear small noises and things but nothing we could attribute to not possibly having an explanation for. Most of them were down to the water heating system in the left corner of the room. We stood in a small circle next to the end of the left side of the bed, joined hands and did the 'twitch' whilst Claire called out. She felt Dell 'tense' a few times and once felt his hands shaking. He said he was suddenly very strongly drawn to the bathroom so we broke the circle and went in there. Just before entering Claire felt as though she wanted to 'hiss' or 'inhale' as if to say 'sshheeesshh' in warning or surprise (why and for what she had no reason).
We stood in the bathroom for 5 mins and shut the door. Julie said she felt very comfortable in here and she could imagine herself having a long leisurely bath. Claire said she felt 'on edge' in here and that if I had a bath in here it would be with 'one eye open'.

Room 5
When first entering you pass into a small entrance hall which then leads into a fairly standard hotel room with the expected bedroom furniture and an en-suite bathroom.
Group 1 Report : Jay Mark Pam
Unfortunately, due to a mix up with the times with the Tontines owners, we didn't get to investigate this area.
Pam, however, did get called into Room 5 by Claire and spent her time in Room 5 when Mark and Jay were in Room 3 - see Group 3s report.
Group 2 Report : Bekki Derek Carol
Due to Group 3 running over in Room 5 - we never got to conduct our own vigil or investigation in this room and merely observed and listened in to what was going on.
Group 3 Report : Claire Dell Julie
Whilst we were sat in silence getting the feel of the room several noises were heard. Some of them could have explanations, however 2 distinct ones we could find no explanation for. Claire heard a noise to the right of her which she presumed was Dells stomach 'rolling'. It wasn't a grumble, it was higher pitched. Then Dell said he'd just heard a noise which was like a woman going 'ohhh'. Claire said he'd heard his stomach and did an impression of the noise she had heard. He said his stomach had not made that or any noise and that sounded like the noise he had heard. He did an impression of it and it sounded exactly the same as what Claire had heard. He said it was definitely not his stomach and to him it sounded like a ladies voice. Claire said she had presumed it was his stomach, but now that was ruled out then it had sounded like a female voice, not a male voice. Julie had not heard this. No reason could be found for this noise, as we had heard it in the room and close to us.
Claire heard and felt a thud on the bed to her right, which presumed was Dell moving his hand on the bed. Julie asked if anyone had just heard a thud noise. I said yes, it was Dell moving his hand on the bed. Dell said he hadn?t heard the noise or moved his hand. Claire put her hand on the bed where she had felt it to recreate this and it sounded and felt exactly the same as she initially heard it. Julie said that was the noise she had heard. Dell said he had not moved his hand then and neither had he heard that noise. No explanation for this noise, and sensation could be found.
Claire then sensed 'energy' in the room very strongly then and she felt something 'enter' her abdomen. It came from the corner behind the dresser, which she had seen lots of little lights around, although Julie and Dell had not seen these. She felt this 'energy' in her stomach moving all around her pelvic area, and then it felt as though it wanted to push upwards. She started to breath quickly and make groans. This lasted about 2-3 minutes then the feeling left and the room felt 'flat'.
5 minutes later she felt as though she wanted to lie down and be very still, so she laid down on the bed and could feel her right leg was icy cold. Dell took a temp reading of Claires body and her leg but he said that she was reading as very hot.
Claire saw a 'rock' and it was grey and she couldn?t decide if it was a stone building or a cliff face or a cave. At times she could see a figure (in her minds eye) wearing a dark cloak and at other times it felt as thought it was her, looking into a stone 'font', which at first looked as though it had water in but the water wasn?t 'water', it was a dark navy 'energy', and this was alternating from her seeing it as 'she' looked down at it so seeing it as the figure in the cloak was looking at it. Claire felt very still as though she couldn?t move and I was freezing!
Both Pam and Bekki came into the room and joined Claire ? Pam on the bed next to where Claire was laying and Bekki in the chair off to the side.
At some point later Jay came in and Claire felt really angry as he knocked her a few times as he was walking round and she couldn't move properly and it was really 'jarring' her, she felt as though I was going to lose some kind of 'link' but because she had this 'link' it was as though every time he slightly knocked her he was actually shoving her really hard. A bit like when you are ill or have a hangover and every little thing is magnified/intensified etc.
The feeling of coldness spread to Claires whole body and she felt as though she could not move. She knew she could if she had to, and this wasn't frightening. She did not experience any kind of paralysis from which she could not move, however she 'couldn't move' either in my body. Her face started twitching. Pam and Dell both felt this. The muscles on her face were twitching and this was not something she could reproduce as it was like a 'tic'. This involuntary 'twitching' lasted about 2-3 minutes.
Claire felt like she was 'in the ground'. In her minds eye she could make out a 'creature' which was a shiny creamy white all over and had 'pointed' ears with wispy white hair on them and pointed small sharp looking teeth. It was 'crouched' and its body was similar to a humans except white and thin but with well defined muscles.
Claire sensed nothing from this apart from it was 'just there'. She also felt that she was laid out and that I had 'been fed' something which had caused paralysis of my body but I was still fully conscious and could move my eyes and see.
Pam said it was in a drink not food. Claire was aware of 'people' being around her and she felt as though she was laid on a floor and she was alive and conscious but 'anaesthetised' . She had a big hole in her abdomen where her entrails and all the other organs had been removed. She felt no pain or fear or any other sensation.
She said she did not feel male or female but she definitely didn't feel female. Obvious deductions can be made from that but she cant say ?I felt male?, because she didn't especially, she just felt 'not female'. She did feel human though.
