St.Catherines And Lady Pecketts
We decided to join the two rooms at the back of The Fleece into one even though they were on two different floors. The reason for this was because Lady Pecketts room was quite small in comparison to the other rooms in The Fleece and it would have been awkward and difficult to fit everybody inside comfortably.
St Catherines room, with its uneven floors which made you think you'd stepped into a room from Alice in Wonderland, contained two single beds, a wonky wardrobe, a few smaller pieces of furniture and an adjoining bathroom with the usual accompaniment.
Lady Pecketts room was furnished the same albeit the room was maybe half the size of St Catherines and with no wonky floor.
Walkaround With Pam
It seemed that the nun and George had followed us into Lady Pecketts room. Pam came up with the name Sister Ann. A guest called Helen said she could smell Lavender.
The walkabout ended in St Catherine?s Room. Pam said that there is a lot of activity in this room, spirits running about. One of the guests thought they saw a flash over by a large mirror in the room. This room also contains the bathroom that was created from a room that had been bricked up and lost for almost 200 years. The smell in here was indicative of old damp!
On the 2nd walk around, Claire reported that some of the guests reported smelling lavender and another of the guests was crying after leaving claiming that Lady Pecketts felt 'evil'.
Group 1 Report : Jay Phil Liam Michelle Richard Gemma Vivian
The final location of the night for our group - Lady Pecketts and St Catherines - proved to be the quietest activity wise, of the whole night.
Barely anything was recorded other than at one point, whilst sat in St Catherines, Jay picked up on little girl with golden blonde locks in pigtails and wearing a blue and white checkered dress with red shoes. Just as Jay was describing the girl - Vivian, who sat on one of the beds, cried out and jumped and claimed that something had just touched one of her legs.
Nothing else was reported or recorded in these two rooms.
Group 2 Report : Claire Pauline Debbie Julie Margo Antony Helen
We got very little in these two rooms. The only interesting things to note was that we split into two groups and one of the groups (4 guests) only lasted about one minute in Lady Pecketts as they felt the room was too 'spooky'.
When we went up to Lady Pecketts as a group a few of the guests claimed they hated this room and felt uncomfortable sitting in there.
Group 3 Report : Lee Edward Amanda Paul Joanne Carol
EMF was within normal range except around light switches as expected. Temperature and humidity was low ? but then it was freezing outside!
We tried various communication techniques.
Glass divination had no results.
Calling out had no results.
We all felt comfortable in this room (St. Catherines) and sensed nothing unusual. So we went upstairs to the Lady Peckett room as this was still part of our first location.
Amanda said that she had a tingling feeling down one side. I asked if it was the way she sat on the bed and once she moved the feeling stopped.
I noticed that the TV screen appeared to have a dull glow. I pulled the plug in case it was to do with that. As expected the screen faded black. Plugged it back on and it returned to a slight glow. All TV?s in the rooms had this I found after comparing them.
We split up between the two rooms now so people could do their own thing. Back in St Catherines Amanda said she felt a tingle run down her spine and the pen in her pocket came out. She could not rule out the possibility of it falling out.
Before the location ended, we attempted table tipping. The table did shake a couple of times but I felt it may have been influenced by us rather than anything else.
