North East Air Museum - Seance
After being told a story by Keith, the caretaker at the air museum, about 2 spirits which have been reported entering the Main Hanger, walking through the aircraft that are stationed there and stopping at the site of an engine that is on display where they would proceed to work upon it - we decided to hold a group vigil at the location of the engine to see if we could pick anything up.
We all gathered around the engine at approximately 1:30am which is roughly the time that this phenomonam occurs. Keith told us that even when things haven't been seen, people have still heard the sound of metal on metal as though somebody is hitting something with a hammer.
We sat in silence, waiting. Firstly there was a report by Jay that he could hear an air-raid siren - and this was confirmed by Pam who said she could also hear that. Shorly thereafter, people began to report hearing footsteps in the hanger as though somebody was walking around the guided roped-off walkway and Andrea reported seeing dark legs walking amongst the aircraft. We also registered a number of localised cold spots in and around the vicinity.
After a short while of sitting silently, we all stood up and formed a large circle where we tried calling out to any spirits who were present to make themselves known. Again, various noises could be heard from with then Hanger, but then suddenly, Pam swayed forwards and backwards before collapsing in a heap on the floor. She was out cold for about two minutes.
Naturally, we closed down the circle immediately and called a halt to the group activity.
