Yes, here we are .. 2009 has buggered off out of fashion - it was, like, so last year - and we're already barrelling headlong through 2010. The hangovers of a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year have finally subsided and here at NGI Towers were all a little more wonky on our feet although another year wiser.
2010 has gotten off to a blistering start for Northern Ghost Investigations and will continue so until the middle of February by which time we'll have completed 6 investigations by my reckoning (hey, they're coming so thick and fast that I'm running out of fingers to keep up the count!) which include a guest night at the Busby Stoop Inn just last Friday leading through to another big charity night at Acklam Hall on the 12th February along with the Butterwick Hospice, Richard Felix and Ian Lawman. And then another night out tagged on for good measure just 3 nights later - jesus, if this carries on all of us will be the friggin' ghosts!
But, seriously, we hope it does carry on - we love what we do, we love doing it with the people we do it with and we hope it never ends, no matter what might happen along the way. We're planning on being the first all Pensioner Ghost Investigation team in the UK - and although some of us are well on our way to qualifying - that still means we have many more years to go before we reach that ultimate ambition.
So we've had a blistering start to the year, as mentioned, and we hope to carry on that blistering pace as the year progresses with more investigations you can shake a stick at.
We're eagerly catching up on the backlog of reports from the end of 2009 and you'll be able to read all about them in the coming weeks.
